Tap your home equity and help save the planet? Well, kinda. Bank of America (BAC) said Wednesday that when customers take out a home equity line of credit and spend at least $2,500 by year’s end, it will donate $100 to green group Conservation International to preserve tropical rainforests. The program is a small part of the bank’s groundbreaking $20 billion green lending initiative announced last month. The nation’s second largest bank will use that cash to fight global warming over the next decade by financing companies creating low-emissions technology, lending money for green building projects and creating the ability for customers to trade carbon credits. While the green home equity line deal seems like another way for Mr. and Ms. America to greenwash their guilty conscience for remodeling their McMansion, BofA claims donating a Benjamin to the Amazon will "offset the impact from energy use in the average household for one year." (Though not, of course, the greenhouse gas emissions and resources consumed in the construction of the increasingly bloated U.S. home.) Bank executives say they hope homeowners will be inspired to use their home equity line of credit to green up their abodes. "Our research has indicated that many customers are using home equity loans and lines of credit to make home improvements that increase energy efficiency," BofA exec David Rupp said in a statement. "This program will enable customers to not only boost energy conservation at home but also drive environmentally sustainable efforts around the globe."

It is now time to take new pollution reducing ideas and make them real to us in our community. Our community currently pays for new school buses to be built at huge cost of $70,000 per Bus. While this is a vital interest to a national defense from an economical and security perspective, it is even more vital to our great new generation of children. Our children are our future and it is up to us to start educating them to live their lives without terror, coercive ideologies, while providing nonabprutive better ways of living.
We have a chance to help our children grow up today with the technology to help them compete, evolve, and to be our future. The Bus is a vital distribution system delivering our most precious resource we have today. The Bus is also a literal hat of change….

Base Program Start Up:
New Diesel Hybrid School Buses could be purchased $140,000 by providing not only a chance to educate our children of economic opportunity, but also further expand our assistance to our communities. We can obtain a host of School Buses by starting Operation Stand By Green. The program would be used to obtain support initially by our home energy providers such as: APS, SRP, P&G, Kinder Morgan, Shell, Exxon Mobil, ….
This would start off the program with the biggest impact and fast. By collecting $2,000,000 from our sponsors and obtaining a grant from the Federal Highway to match another $2,000,000 we would be able to purchase Stand By Green Diesel Hybrid School Buses. This would start the base program and the education of our children what should be possible.
Initial advertisement by APS, SRP, P&G, Kinder Morgan, Shell, Exxon Mobil, and others would be able to advertise on the Stand By Green Diesel Hybrid School Buses. The advertisement would be on all Stand By Green School Buses only. As the fleet increased, advertisement would expand on each of these buses. Also, incubation of corporate funding would be made available for solar panels to be installed on the top of each School Bus so small side screens could be installed to provide video inside the buses for educational purposes only. Video could be about zoo programs, ideas of different jobs and what they might require in the future, and eating healthier meals or exercising.
Advanced Program Start Up:
To further expand the fleet and its servicing during the day after our children are at school or back at home, we add more hours to our School Buses. We contract to companies whom will provide special automated attachments to allow wheel chair access and seating for the elderly. Everyday, after the kids have been dropped off or picked up, our hours expand and so does our advertisement opportunities. We have several hours to obtain a list of email internet requests to pick up registered only participants. The registered participants must be either handicapped, a certain age, or under doctor care to be part of the program. Each registered participant would need to fill out waivers to allow the School Buses to pick each of them up from a pick up and drop list emailed and scheduled ahead of time.
Using the same donated Walmart scheduling technology the participants could call ahead or schedule through the internet. The phone company using its 411 operators would charge $1.00 to schedule the School Bus changed to now a special delivery service on hour’s maintained 10am – 2pm and 5:30pm – 7:00pm schedule.
Advertisements would be IP/GPS driven based on location included with a navigation system. The navigation system would be better used to pick up children for time and energy usage. Also, the School Buses would switch advertisements seamlessly with an hour restriction and location base.
Also this adds to a less expensive way to maintain our School Bus Fleet, expand our Stand By Green non-profit operations, increase education geared for children or participants, and save our state’s environment.
